2023/24 New Memberships Opening 1st September 2023

NEW MEMBERS

Mount Martha Life Saving Club welcomes new members every season.  To join please follow the below instructions:

STEP 1 – Obtain a Working with Children Check CLICK HERE (compulsory for all adult members 18+)

STEP 2 – Join all family members or an individual online CLICK HERE  pay the appropriate membership fee

STEP 3 – Email copies of passport/birth certificate to membership@mmlsc.com.au for all members under the age of 18.


Step 1
Every member over the age of 18 MUST hold a valid Working with Children Check. Please do not apply for membership unless you hold/or have applied for/updated your Check. This includes Teachers and Police officers, you are not exempt from a volunteer WWCC.  Click here to go directly to the WWCC site. Mount Martha LSC and Life Saving Victoria must be registered as volunteer organisations linked to your WWCC.  **Your single or family membership will not be processed until we receive confirmation from the Department of Justice, that the below organisations have been successfully added, this can take up to 4-6 weeks so we strongly advise that this is processed ASAP.

Step 2
To join Mount Martha LSC you will need to do so online via SLSA’s Join Page. This website allows you to electronically submit your membership and pay via credit card.

Every new member must be entered into SLS online membership and will have their own entry in the national database to record their own awards, assessments and patrol hours.  Family members can be added via the family group function.


New Family Membership 2023/24 – Opening Soon
A Family Membership includes all immediate members of a family plus all dependents (living at the same address). Children 13 and under as at 30th September 2023 must be part of a family membership with at least one parent/guardian over 18 years old. Children who are not 5 by the 30th of September¹ cannot be registered. If you are joining for Nippers you will also be required to provide proof of age (birth certificate or passport) as this will determine which age group your child/children go into – this is required before your membership is accepted.

¹If your child will turn 5 between the 1st of October 2023 and the 31st of December 2023 they will be able to participate in the 2023/24 season please touch base with our membership team to register them.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL NEW MEMBERS: The following conditions apply to all members who join Mount Martha LSC via the Members Area:-

  • Members who join via the Members Area grant SLSA and Mount Martha Life Saving Club an unreserved right to take and publish photographs for promotional purposes/publications that may include images of themselves and/or their children.
  • Members who join via the Members Area agree to abide by ALL CLUB RULES, and accept full responsibility for their actions and safety.
  • Members in all categories aged 18+ must hold a valid Working with Children Check with Mount Martha Life Saving Club and Life Saving Victoria nominated as your volunteer organisations. Further details and instructions for applying for a WWCC can be located at our WWCC Tab.
