The Schools Beach Program at Mount Martha Life Saving Club is an extremely successful program that caters for school and community groups, providing beach and water activities.
The MMLSC Schools Program won the Life Saving Victoria Awards of Excellence – Community Education Program 2020/21.
The program may be booked for various school year levels, for a full week or a full day. End of year and special celebration days for both schools and community groups can also be booked. The program is flexible and we will aim to meet the needs of each individual booking. Activities provided may include:
- Beach flags
- Beach volleyball/ soccer/cricket
- Skis and paddles
- Nippers/seniors boards
- Swim/wade
- Snorkelling
- Water rescues – boards/tubes
- First aid/CPR/rescue scenarios/beach education
- BBQ lunch (MMLSC provides BBQ facilities only)
- All equipment and lifeguards are supplied with bookings
